Darlene Carol Rotsteen Muth

Darlene Carol Rotsteen Muth, 72, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Springerville. She was born February 11, 1945 in Gross Point, Michigan, the daughter of Harry L. Rotsteen and Ruth Mary Lee Rotsteen. Darlene had a genuine heart of service for others. Her passion was working and serving the public as a waitress, bartender and receptionist. She was quick to answer a call for help and never needed to know why. Her devotion to family was unmatched and no sacrifice was too big to make. She always had a story and a smile and worked hard to make sure everyone around her felt comfortable. She was a devoted wife and mother for 49 years. Darlene is survived by her husband, James Muth, son, Daniel R. (Lisa K.) Muth, Springerville; brother, Harry John Rotsteen, Prescott Valley; sister, Ruth Anne Jewell, Tempe; and two grandchildren, Allyson and Emily. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Irma Rotsteen Adey and brother, Thomas Lee. Being an avid softball fan, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Notorious Softball Club at PO Box 34, Show Low, AZ 85902. A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the residence of Dan & Lisa Muth, 481 S. Butler St., Eagar.
