William David Saldeen

William David Saldeen, 58, passed away, Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in Springerville, Arizona. He was born December 13, 1965 in Mesa, Arizona, the son of Merle Edgar Saldeen and Patricia Joan Henson.

Bill worked hard his whole life; first as a Hot Shot out of Young, fighting wild land fires and then as a power plant operator for 34 years, helping to keep the lights on.

His family and friends were very important to him and he loved spending time with them, hanging out in the garage. He was an avid baseball and softball player for many years and summers were spent at the ballpark. He enjoyed many other outdoor activities including camping, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Saldeen, Young; daughter, Kersha Saldeen, Show Low; brothers, Patrick Cox, Brant Cline, Martin Saldeen, Michael Saldeen and sisters, Christina McCulloch, Kristina Cox and Jennifer Saldeen,

He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Kathy Saldeen and Jay and Patricia Cox and a brother, Tim Cox.
