Wilda Marie Madrid, 77, passed away, Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in Eagar, Arizona. She was born December 12, 1946 in Silver City, New Mexico, the daughter of William Andrew Wilkins and Wilda Fay Curry.
Wilda was the librarian at Round Valley Middle School, retiring in 2008. She loved to track her family geneaology and others as well. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and always loved to help others.
Wilda is survived by her children, Daryl Thane (Kim) Madrid, Springerville; Eric (Molly) Madrid, Springerville; Alan (Terri) Madrid, Tucson; Keliann (Aaron) Dean, Redmond, Washington; Brandy (Charles) Young, Prescott Valley; Lori (Daniel) Gutierrez, Springerville; brother, Roger Andrew Wilkins and sister, Patricia Ann Wilkins. She was "Grandma" to so many more and is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Celso Madrid, Jr. and brothers, Grover Eugene "Gene" Atwood and Michael William "Mike" Wilkins.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springerville Building.
