Victoria Gabaldon Chavez

Victoria Gabaldon Chavez, 85, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at her beloved Lazy EA Ranch in St. Johns. She was born July 13, 1934 in Aragon, New Mexico, the daughter of Juan Gabaldon and Perfecta Martinez Gabaldon.

Victoria was a loving wife, mother and friend to many. She was an amazing cook who opened Los Dos Molinos 45 years ago and worked until she couldn’t work anymore. She passed away at her ranch, Lazy EA Ranch; that her husband and family shared. There is no more pain for her.

Victoria is survived by her daughters, Sandi Melton, Antoinette Chavez, Cheryl Vitale, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Chavez, son, Andrew Chavez, and daughter, Loretta Chavez de la Paz.

Private family services will be held.
