Vicky C. Baldonado, 69, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at her home in Springerville. She was born November 18, 1948 in Springerville, the daughter of Fred Robert Baldonado and Margaret Milligan Baldonado.
After graduating from Round Valley High School in 1966, Vicky attended business school in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She worked at a local hospital and Thompson Electric Supply and in 1976 she went to work for the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest as a clerk and typist. Vicky then got involved with the local little league baseball program, where she coached the kids for 42 years. She also devoted her time to St. Peter’s Catholic Church as an Angel for the Funeral Ministries. She was a good friend, sister, mom to many and auntie to all.
Vicky is survived by her brothers, Leon and Arthur and 12 nieces and nephews and many great and great, great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a special loved family, Inez Aragon, Krissee Aragon, Kameron Aragon, Kyron Aragon and Tairren Aragon and baby Zaylem.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Fred.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Angel Funeral Ministries at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
Rosary will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Springerville. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. A family dinner will follow the funeral mass at the church.
