Timothy Patrick Foley

Timothy Patrick Foley, 59, of St. Johns, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 peacefully in his sleep. Tim was born in Long Beach, California and moved to St. Johns approximately four years ago.

He loved the small town vibe and always felt at home in St. Johns. Whether he was with his good friends at his favorite places or cruising on his bike around town, he felt he had found his home. Tim enjoyed reading, listening to music, hanging out with friends and family, playing (in his younger years) and watching sports and of course, riding his bicycle.

Tim is survived by his mother, Dianna Byrd Medina, step-dad, Zeke Medina, father, Larry Foley and his partner, Sharon, sister, Lori and her husband, Sergio, two nephews, Ryan and Ross, older brother, Gary Davis and his wife Robin, aunts, Kathy, Lynn, Marj and Phyllis and uncles, David, Glenn and Jim, along with the rest of his family and many friends who loved him dearly.

The family of Timothy Patrick Foley wishes to thank St. Johns Catholic Church, Father Joe Blonski and all the church volunteers honoring him with a beautiful service, Little Colorado Behavioral Health Center and Old Concho Community Assistance Center for their assistance and help with his lodging and care, and Lisa Painter and her family for all they have done and for going beyond the call-of-duty to make sure Tim knew he was loved and cared for, all those in St. Johns who took Tim in as a family member and as a friend (and for all those who helped him with his constant bike issues) and most importantly, thank you to all who showed him the love and compassion that he always showed for others in his life.

Rosary will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. with Father Joe Blonski officiating. A Celebration of Life picnic will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Johns City Park and everyone is welcome to come visit, eat and reminisce.
