Thomas Kenney

Thomas Kenney, 74, passed away, Thursday, February 13, 2025 in Eagar, Arizona. He was born March 18, 1950 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, the son of Alfred James Kenney and Evelyn Bernice Carroll.

Tommy had a big heart; he loved his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He loved fishing, loved football, loved the New England Patriots and loved his Dallas Cowboys and his Houston Texans. Tommy loved the Arizona mountains and would travel often from his home in Texas to Arizona. He loved a simple life and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Evelyn Kenney, his sister, Nancy Gallagher, whom he shared a birthday with; he was her first birthday gift, his son, Joel “Joey”, the love of his life, Susan Cobb Kenney and his nephews, Tyler, Anthony and Brian.

He is survived by his children, Kelli Kenney, Texas, whom also shares his birthday, she was his birthday gift, Rachael (Travis) Hoelewyn, Texas; Erik Duda, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, Everleigh, sisters, Sharon (David) Kirkey, Eagar; Gale (Dennis) Reeves, Texas; brother, Alfred Kenney “Bunky”, California; sister-in-law and brother-in-law and friends, Andrea and Curtis Brown, Texas; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Eagar, Arizona.
