Sylvia Shumway Hamblin

Sylvia Shumway Hamblin, 79, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, Sunday, September 24, 2017. She was born March 22, 1938 in Snowflake, the daughter of Charles Stanley Shumway and Frances Ballard Shumway. Sylvia is survived by her children, Merrell Clyde (Blanche) Hamblin, Steven Shumway (Mindy) Hamblin, Scott Reynolds (Deanna) Hamblin, Eric Lee (Brenna) Hamblin, Kristi (Guy) Phelps, 24 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sisters, Myrtle Reed, Katy Udall, Helen Wilkins, Beverly Heap and sister-in-law, Patty Shumway. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, H. Clyde Hamblin and brother, Charles Shumway. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eagar Stake Center, with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Eagar Cemetery.
