Susie Denise Silva was born May 27, 1953 in Los Angeles, California. She passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Greg and Patty Orona's home in Springerville. Susie was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Malcolm Silva, parents, Clyde and Johnnie Brannan, siblings, Jerry Brannan, Bobby Brannan and Stacy Brannan-Herreras. She is survived by her "kid"/sister/bad cop, Patty (Greg) Orona, daughter-in-law/best friend/good cop, Erin (Scott) Silva, granddaughters, Jennifer Orona and Rafael Cossio, Melissa and Justin Erhart and Haley Silva, great granddaughters, Keila Orona and Adabelle Cossio, Kendrie and Kelci Walker, Dyllan Erhart, siblings, Jimmy (Shirley) Brannan, Bonnie Hutchinson, Weldon Brannan, Sherry (Eric) Chance-Parrish and a special place in Susie's heart, Larry (Gina) Turner, Whitney and Dominic, Donna and Steve Bennett, Betty Jo LeSueur and PJ Burrell. Susie was always an entrepreneur, from owning her own beauty salon and landscaping business to White Mountain Kachina Realty as broker/agent. She found her true calling in real estate. Her clients became lifelong friends. Susie was a proud council member for the Town of Springerville for the past eight years, seven years in the role of vice mayor. She loved living in Springerville and was passionate about her town. Susie lived on her own and supported herself from the age of 16. She worked at the Safire restaurant for her "nother/mother" Betty Jo LeSueur, who Susie loved beyond words. She married the love of her life, her funny face, Malcolm Silva at the age of 18. They were married until his passing September 1, 2017. Susie had a big heart. She was known for her honesty and integrity. She was a hard worker, where a hand shake was as good as a written contract. Memorial services will be held Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Momentum Life Church in Springerville.Malcolm and Susie's ashes will be spread together on Escudilla by their family.
