Susie Finch

Susie Finch, 65, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Phoenix. She was born August 28, 1956 in Fairview, New Mexico, the daughter of Clyde Taylor and Melveda “Lay” Mattie Moody. Susie was the seventh of eight children.

Susie lived most of her life in the Round Valley area. She lived many other places for work but Round Valley was always home.

She met the love of her life, Mick Finch in high school. They married on March 17, 1973 and were sealed in the Manti Temple, to be sealed for time and all eternity, on November 12, 1974. Together they had 3 wonderful children, Mike (Tara), Shaea (Travis), Buffi Jo and 5 grandkids, Taylor, A.J., Aiden, Raelie and Bryce. She was “Granny” to countless other children as well.

Susie is survived by her husband, children, grandkids and sister, Syble Hartley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mae, Charlotte, Wayne, Bobby, Roger, Kim, father-in-law, Jim Finch and many nieces, nephews and good friends.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary, Eagar. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Amity building, with visitation one hour prior.
