Sharon Lorraine Isaacson Crosby, 77, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 in Gilbert. She was born April 6, 1941 in Flagstaff, the daughter of John Raymond Isaacson and Mary Lorraine King Isaacson.
Sharon was a lifelong resident of St. Johns except for a short absence for college. She was active in the community of St. Johns and after raising 5 children she returned to college to obtain a degree in Elementary Education. Sharon was a passionate educator; having great focus on students becoming successful in school and life. She was an accomplished pianist and organist; having a real love and talent for music. Sharon loved singing in the choir as well as accompanying for choirs, soloists, and instrumentalists. She loved working on family history, quilting, scrapbooking and photographs. She was a super-fan of her kids and grandkids sports; having hardly ever missed one of their games or matches. Sharon will be dearly missed by all.
Sharon is survived by her husband, John Stephen Crosby, St. Johns; sons, Tad (Joy) Crosby, Queen Creek; Ferrin (Tara) Crosby, St. Johns; Brandon (Carrie) Crosby, St. Johns; daughters, Stacy (Joe) Frazier, Page; Brandee Davis, St. Johns; brothers, Bryan Isaacson, Ken Isaacson, sister, Pam Conant, 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Craig Isaacson and granddaughter, Chandler Crosby.
A viewing will be held Friday, November 23, 2018 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary, St. Johns. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, St. Johns Stake Center, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery.
