Samuel "Samba" James Parker

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Samuel “Samba” James Parker on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. He was a devoted husband and loving father and had a passion for music; whose soul was filled with humor and smiles that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

He was born June 22, 1988 in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Kevin Mark Parker, Sr. and Kimberly Sue Mason.

Sam found immense joy in sharing his love of music, food (he was a Sous Chef), fishing, sports (Chicago Bears), and cannabis. He was so excited about his newest journey; living off grid, getting in touch with nature and helping people heal with cannabis.

His spirit will live on through the memories of his smile and the laughter he brought to so many of us. We need more people like Sam in this world.

Sam is survived by his wife, Jennifer E. Parker, son, Ebin J. Parker, Otterbein, Indiana; step-son, Austin K. Wright, parents, Kimberly Pennington and Kevin Parker, Sr., brother, Kevin Mark Parker, Jr. and sister, Victoria Parker.
