Robert "Rob" John Smith

Robert “Rob” John Smith, 39, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Overgaard. He was born August 24, 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of John Ralph Smith and DeLila McCurdy Smith. Robert was a self-employed business owner of a flooring company. He loved having father, daughter time to go fishing and do legos. He loved to cook for his wife and daughter and cared for everyone. He loved to help people in need, even if they did him wrong. He was very caring and loving. Robert loved to meet new people. He loved his job and he loved to take his daughter with him just so she could spend time with him and to meet new people and get to know them better while doing work together. His greatest accomplishment was being a dad. He will be missed by many. Robert is survived by his wife, Alycia Elizabeth Smith, Concho; daughter, Lyric Elizabeth Smith, Concho; mother, Salt Lake City, Utah; half-brother, Richard Smith, North Carolina; and sister, Dedra Bradley, Montana. He was preceded in death by his father. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Concho Branch building.
