Richard Daniel Tapia

Richard Daniel Tapia was born November 13, 1953 in Los Angeles, California. The son of Manuel Tapia and Helen Saiz, he was one of twelve siblings.

He was a loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Ricky, as most people called him, was a caring and giving person. If he saw anyone in need, he would give them his last dime.

Ricky was a truck driver at the early age of 19. He drove throughout most of the states and had lots of memories to share of his experiences. He went to college to be an electrician until he retired. He loved the mountains, even though he lived in California most of his life and would visit the mountains every chance he could. Finally, in 2014, he moved to the White Mountains, where he made it his home.

Ricky was called to eternal rest Tuesday, September 21, 2021. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially his family. May he rest in Peace.
