Preston Michael Mott, 26, passed away, June 6, 2018 in Tucson, surrounded by loves ones following a long battle with addiction. He was born April 24, 1992 in Great Falls, Montana to Kristen Mott Sayles. Immediately Preston became the light in so many people’s lives, especially his grandparents, Garry and Sherry Mott, who remained close to Preston his entire life. Preston had tremendous talent with all activities he participated in. Soccer, baseball, football and snowboarding kept him busy throughout the year. From an early age, Preston also found a love for music, singing and playing guitar. He was constantly entertaining people. Preston became a father with his high school sweetheart, not once, but twice; each birth filling his heart with joy. Regardless of what life Preston was in, those who loved him knew his heart was full of all those things and as his struggle progressed he just couldn’t sit there. Preston is survived by his mother, Kristen Sayles, step-father, Stan Sayles, daughter, Sherry Faye Mott, son, Kobe Brannan Mott, brothers, Bowen Summers, Brody Sayles, step-siblings, Cameron Sayles, Kimberly Sayles, Jenya Sayles, Brittany Sayles, grandparents, Garry and Sherry Mott, aunts, Alissa Mott Welch, Sheryl (Shezza) Carter, nieces, Lacey Huffstetler, Juliette Carter and nephew, Ty Welch. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Wallace and Alice Mott and Skip (Leonard) and Madeline Bobbett. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Momentum Life (Assembly of God) Church, Springerville, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Eagar Cemetery.
