Michael Royce Taylor

Michael Royce Taylor, 45, was born July 23, 1972 in Springerville, the son of Brenda Lund and Jimmy Taylor. He went to Heaven Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Queen Creek.

Michael was the third of five children and spent his childhood growing up in Round Valley. He enjoyed playing sports, scouting and hiking Flattop. He graduated from Round Valley High School in 1990. Michael was known for being a prankster, a hard worker, a builder and a family man. He loved to laugh, have a good time, help a stranger and serve others. He spent the last few years as a truck driver and was able to see many places in our beautiful country. Throughout his life, Michael made many friends on his adventures. He never knew a stranger.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will be greatly missed. “We love you to the moon and beyond. God be with you till we meet again.”

Michael is survived by his wife, Dawn Taylor, daughters, Samantha (Heath) Johnson, Amber ShyAnne Taylor, Shelby Rene Taylor, Chelsey LeeAnn Taylor, sons, Casey Wayne Young, Jimmy Charles Taylor, granddaughters, Tyler Johnson and Radleigh Johnson, parents, Brenda and Dave Hagen, Jimmy and Diana Taylor, sisters, Jennifer (Jeff) LaRue, Tisha (Aaron) Harris, brother, J. Greg (Elizabeth) Taylor and many nieces and nephews that will miss his constant teasing.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irl and Betty Lund and Floyd and Agnes Taylor, sister, Robyn Radke and brother-in-law, Kimmel M. Jones, Jr.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springerville Ward Chapel. Interment followed the funeral services at the Eagar Cemetery.
