Michael Wayne Evans

Michael Wayne Evans, 66, passed away, Monday, April 14, 2025 in Springerville, Arizona. He was born January 11, 1959 in Elyria, Ohio, the son of Gary Eugene Evans and Esther Louise Hardy.

Michael served his country in the United States Army. He was retired from the Arizona Department of Corrections as a Corrections Officer.

He is survived by his brother, Donald E. Evans, Sr. and sister, Lonnie Holifield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary D. Evans.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Presbyterian Church, Springerville, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the services at the Springerville Cemetery.
