Merla Lou Hale Clayton

Merla Lou Hale Clayton, 79, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 in Mesa. She was born June 10, 1939 in Eagar, the daughter of Michael Delbert “Bud” Hale and Martha S. Bigelow Hale.

Merla was a talented musician and singer. She loved quilting, church, her family and diet cherry Dr. Pepper.

She is survived by her sons, Morris K. Jarvis and Kevin R. Jarvis.

She was preceded in death by her husband and siblings.

A viewing will be held Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W Hulet Dr., Chandler. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Amity Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Eagar Cemetery, Eagar.
