Marshell Allen Reed

Marshell Allen Reed, 68, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 in Nutrioso. He was born January 19, 1953 in McNary, the son of Walter George Reed, Jr. and Sara Earlene Hale.

Marshell was most proud of felling large trees, (the bigger the better) at 68 years old. He was also proud of all of his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. He loved spending any time he could with them. He enjoyed taking the grandkids fishing and hunting and also enjoyed getting firewood with his two dogs.

Marshell is survived by his wife, Gay Lynn Sullivan, son, Tommy Reed, Key West, Florida; daughters, Tabatha (Ray) Jaramillo, Show Low; Marsha Ziegler, Eagar; Monica (Jon) Schweigert, Show Low; step-children, Dennis Bobbitt, Daniel Bobbitt, Alzina Foscato, Aaron Foscato, brother, George Earl Reed, half-sisters, Ann Rosenberry, Orene Walker, Valerina Walker, 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ted Walker, and Jesse “Bud” Walker.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Alpine Community Center. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Alpine Cemetery.
