Marlin Victor LeSueur, 91, passed away, Tuesday, May 15, 2024 in Goodyear, Arizona. He was born June 10, 1932 in Eagar, Arizona, the son of John Perry LeSueur and Hannah Manila Maxwell.
Marlin was raised in Eagar, Arizona and attended Round Valley High School, graduating in 1946. He played Varsity basketball his sophomore thru Senior year. He senior year he was chosen for the All-Northern basketball team. His teammates from high school were lifetime friends.
Marlin attended BYU, and ASU. His senior year of college he attended ASU in Flagstaff at NAU on a basketball and football scholarship. He made a career in education teaching and coaching and being a guidance counselor and an athletic director.
Marlin is survived by his sons, Kelly LeSueur, Eagar; Clay LeSueur, Eagar; daughters, Vicki Walker, Eagar; Lisa Pifer, Eagar; 17 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary, Eagar. A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eagar Stake Center, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Eagar Cemetery.
