Marian Frances Fox

Marian Frances Fox, 90, passed away at home, Tuesday, March 12, 2024. She was born in Westport, Indiana to James Simon McCullough and Mabel Tanner McCullough.  

Marian is survived by her 7 children: Allen Fox, Jr., Brenda Shackelford, Richard (Joyce) Fox, Marilyn (Wayne) Ritz, Lawrence (Jerilyn) Fox, Stanley (Lori) Fox and Joan Fox. She is also the proud grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Fox, grandson, Andrew Fox and sons-in-law, Troy Shackelford and Robert Ralston.

Marian loved her Lord and Savior. She set the example, as well as, prayed for her family to do the same and to serve in God’s harvest field. She enjoyed many activities with her family: camping, hunting, fishing, boating, rock hounding, teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, being active with the Bremerton Yacht Club Skipperetts (including being past President), member of Daughters of the American Revolution, owning and showing Arabian horses, gardening and canning her garden produce, teaching Medical Transcription at Phoenix College, being a Medical Transcriptionist, being a wife, mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. Family gatherings for the holidays are cherished memories.

A funeral service will be held, Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Maranatha Bible Church, 581 East Old Linden Road, Show Low, Arizona 85901, with visitation one hour prior.
