Maria Magdalena Morales

Maria Magdalena Morales, 66, passed away, Monday, September 2, 2024 in Lakeside, Arizona. She was born July 22, 1958, the daughter of Pablo Lujan and Juana Rincon in Zacatecas, Mexico.

Maria was the loving parent of Alfonso, David and Danny Torres. She was the most generous person who always had time for everyone and loved and cared for everyone. She was a custodian, retired from Round Valley School District.

She is survived by her husband, Luis Raul Morales Caraveo, sons, Alfonso Torres, David Torres, step-son, Adrian Morales, brothers, Jesus Lujan, Pedro Lujan, sisters, Manuela Ibarra, Maria Esparza, Carmen Rocha, Juanita Saucedo, Velia Jimenez and grandchildren, Diego Torres, Joey Crosby-Torres, Erik Torres, Jackson Wood and Dylan Wood.

She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Torres, step-son, Ezekiel Morales and sister, Guadalupe Aguirre.

Rosary will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. followed by a viewing from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary, Eagar. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Springerville, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the services at the Springerville Cemetery.
