Maria Luisa Aguirre Rivas Diaz, 83, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born August 25, 1940 in Inde, Durango, Mexico, the daughter of Rafael Aguirre and Leonor Rivas.
She is survived by her sons, Heriberto, St. Johns; Hilario, St. Johns; Jose Juan, Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters, Teresa, St. Johns; Bertha, Mesa; Petry, San Tan Valley; brother, Jesus Aguirra, 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, October 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Burnham Mortuary, St. Johns, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the services at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery.
