Manuel Mendivil Padilla

Manuel Mendivil Padilla, 96, passed away, Friday, November 5, 2021 in Reserve, New Mexico. He was born November 10, 1924 in Florence, Arizona, the son of Fortunato Padilla and Ramona Mendivil.

Manuel served his country in the United States Army from 1943-1945 and was a transport driver for the U.S. Civil Service.

Manuel is survived by his wife, Ernestine Padilla, Reserve, New Mexico; son, Robert J. Padilla, Mesa; daughter, Yvonne Greenwood, St. Louis, Missouri; brother, George Padilla, sister, Connie Strabaca, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joe, Frank, Gilbert and sisters, Mary Helen and Anne.

A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church, Reserve, New Mexico, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the services at the Middle Frisco Cemetery.
