Katrina Catherine Cowen Smith

Katrina Catherine Cowen Smith, 49, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at her home in Greer. She was born March 6, 1972 in Brookhaven, Mississippi, the daughter of Hollis Joseph Cowen, Jr. and Sonya Amelia White.

Katrina was a life-long member of the Willie Nelson family and a world traveler, having traveled to 27 countries. She was an event planner for major corporations and organized medical missions to Honduras and Nicaragua and lived in Ireland and Denmark.

Katrina is survived by her husband, Lane Smith, Greer; and her mother, Sonya W. Cowen, Wesson, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hollis Cowen, Jr. and brother, Trey Cowen.
