Joyce Ann Carpenter

July 18, 1944 — January 9, 2018

Joyce Ann Carpenter, 73, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at her home in Alpine. She was born July 18, 1944 in Hagerstown, Maryland, the daughter of Teathian Adam Blake and Mildred Irene Gish Blake.

Joyce was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by so many from coast to coast. She loved to watch the elk and would want to go driving all over the area to see them.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Carpenter, sons, Edward Carpenter, Eric Carpenter, James Carpenter, daughter, Leeanna Carpenter Rosenbaum, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by 2 sisters.
