Johnny Lee Keathley, 66, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 in Eagar. He was born June 12, 1954, in Modesto, California, the son of LeLand and Marjorie Keathley.
Johnny loved his music; especially the Beatles. He was great masonry worker for 33 years. He loved to race cars and liked to build fast cars. His nickname was “Hot Rod”. Johnny will be greatly missed by all.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Kim Keathley, Eagar; son, Mike Keathley, Phoenix; step-sons, Waylon O’Neal, Eagar; Erik Tafoya, Reserve, New Mexico; mother, Marjorie Lucas, Tucson, sister, Anita Rich, Tucson and grandchildren, Dakota Keathley and Jeremiah O’Neal.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Harlan O’Neal.
Rosary will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 at 7 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Springerville. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. also at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
