John Sherman Johnston, 82, peacefully passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at his daughter’s home in Eagar. He was born October 8, 1936 in Phoenix, the son of James Johnston and Jane O’Neil Johnston.
John was a kind person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends….and strangers….LOL. John tried to befriend every stranger he met. John lived his whole life dedicated to serving others, whether it was taking the time to help kids get scholarships or helping his neighbor that lived 40 miles away castrate their cows….He truly enjoyed getting the call for help. He loved coaching and teaching kids.
