Jessie Rizo Mejia

Jessie Rizo Mejia, 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Greer, Arizona, Tuesday, August 2, 2022. She was born April 2, 1934 in Calexico, California.

Jessie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was an amazing woman that loved life and gave love to all she crossed paths with.

Jessie and her husband, Lou raised 3 children, Michael, Luis and Luana with love and so much attention. Jessie and Lou are now reunited in heaven looking down on their children and grandchildren, Carter, Austin, Sydney, Robert, Meghan and Ryan, continuing to provide all of us with strength.

Jessie loved being up at her home in Greer. She relished time with her children and grandchildren. Rest in peace; you are in a better place now and will be forever missed.

Jessie is survived by her children, Michael Mejia, Scottsdale; Luis Mejia, Alexandria, Virginia; Luana Mejia, Mesa; brother, Paul Rizo and 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lou Mejia and parents.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Special Olympics in honor of her daughter, Luana.
