Inez Aragon passed away, Sunday, December 8, 2024 at White Mountain Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family. A remarkable woman, Inez was known for her strength, independence and a heart brimming with kindness. She deeply cherished her family, especially her daughter, Krissee and her grandchildren, Kamron, Kyron and Tairran Aragon, who were the light of her life.
During her career as a purchasing agent for the Forest Service, Inez cultivated many treasured friendships and memories. In her younger years she worked for the Silva family, who treated her like one of their own; a kindness she cherished throughout her life. Outside of work she expressed her creativity through sewing, quilting and other crafts; creating heartfelt pieces that reflected her love and care.
To her family and friends, Inez was a foundation of strength and unwavering support. She was more than a mother or grandmother, she was a “Mom” and “Gma” to many; welcoming countless adopted children and grandchildren into her heart with open arms. Her steadfast love and unyielding generosity left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Inez also adored her great-grandchildren, Zaylem, Zyrran and Zeni Aragon, showering them with love and spoiling them every chance she got. She was deeply honored when Zeni was named after her (Inez spelled backward), a gesture that reflected the bond they shared.
She is also survived by her brothers, Daniel and Eliseo Aragon and sister-in-law, Margaret Baca.
Inez was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Rebecca Aragon and brother Elias Aragon.
Inez’s ashes will be lovingly placed alongside her sister, Rebecca Aragon, honoring their enduring bond. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at White Mountain Regional Medical Center for their exceptional care, compassion and support during this difficult time.
Her legacy of love, resilience and kindness, tempered with her trademark blunt honesty, will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
