Helen Virginia Wear Urey

Helen Virginia Wear Urey, 94, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at her home in Alpine. She was born October 23, 1923 in Taylor, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harry Lee Wear and Nellie Ellen Wade Wear.

Helen moved to Arizona when she was 22 years old, with her husband, Kenneth. She lived at Apache Lake, Roosevelt Lake, Blue and finally Alpine. In her younger years she loved to quilt, sew and paint and was quite crafty. Helen truly was one of a kind!

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Urey, brothers, Lloyd E. Wear, Harry L. Wear, Jr., sisters, Helen V. Wear and Hazel M. Squire.
