Gene Emmett Leininger

Gene Emmett Leininger, 64, passed away, Sunday, April 28, 2024 at his home in Eagar, Arizona. He was born June 11, 1959, the son of Lawrence Hershel Leininger, III and Betty Lou Anderson.

Gene was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a great wealth of information and showed people what to do and how to fix things.

He loved deeply and cared about everything and everyone. He was a fighter and was always working to better the family. He taught us what working together as a family meant. He loved with his whole heart and showed it every day. He was strong and supportive and loved his wife and children more than life itself.

Gene is survived by his wife, Cathy Ann Leininger, Eagar; sons, Jason Emmett Leininger, Eagar; David Paul Booth, Jr., Belen, New Mexico; daughters, Elizabeth Lynn Leininger, Truth of Consequences, New Mexico; Christina Marie Leininger, Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; sisters, Tammie Neil Goldbeach, Oregon; Brenda McGee, Alvarado, Texas; and 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Sarah Rhiann Booth.
