Gale Workman
On Saturday, January 13, 2018, while her husband held her hand, Gale Reed Workman of Queen Creek quietly passed through the veil of this life after a courageous battle with Sjogren’s syndrome. She was surrounded by her loved ones.
Gale was born September 11, 1941 to Cortis and Elberta Reed in Tucson and spent most of her childhood in St. David. She was sealed to Tot Roger Workman in the Mesa Arizona Temple on May 3, 1963. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings such as chorister and Relief Society President. She also served a Mission at the Welfare Center in Mesa. Gale loved music, her flower garden, the Relief Society sisters and most of all her family. She spent her life serving others always trying to meet their needs. There was no better example of a homemaker, wife or mother.
Gale was greeted in Paradise by her grandparents, parents, brother, Gene, her friend, Maxine and her son, Thomas. Those waiting to see her again are her brothers, Lon (Joyce) Reed, Ronald (Diana) Reed and her beloved friend and sister, Bertie Lou (Ray) McRae, her loving children, Tod (Crystal) Workman, Ty (Tonya) Workman, Tonia (Jim) Smoot and Toi (Mike) Pacheco, 27 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The one waiting to see her most of all is her husband of 55 years Tot Roger Workman.
Special thanks to the Hospice Angels, Bishop and Sister Jones, Candice Adams, Suzie and Betty Gardner, Susan Morris and the many others who showed so much love and care.
