Fred L. Bruner, III, 68, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018. He was born August 30, 1949 in Phoenix, the son of Fred L. Bruner, Jr. and Marjorie Taylor Bruner.
Fred spent most of his childhood in Bisbee. He earned the honor of Eagle Scout and played football and track before graduating from Bisbee High School in 1967. He spent two years at Western New Mexico University and then transferred to Arizona State University, where he earned his teaching degree. He was an industrial arts teacher before working in the spring manufacturing business, spending most of his career at Phoenix Spring in Tempe. Fred was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life and always enjoyed a good NASCAR race and camping trip.
Fred is survived by his wife, Pam Tenney-Bruner, children, Jennie (Brent) Smith, Russ (Laura) Bruner, Rob (Joy) Bruner, his father, Fred Bruner, Jr. and his brother, John (Nancy) Bruner. He was loved by his five grandchildren and several step-children and step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Temple View Ward, Snowflake, with visitation one hour prior. A Funeral Service will also be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Palo Verde Baptist Church, Palo Verde. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Palo Verde Baptist Church Cemetery.
