Donnie Ray Gilliam

Donnie Ray Gilliam, 70, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 in Eagar. He was born February 19, 1951 in Springerville, the son of Lonnie Ray Gilliam and Barbra Elaine Camp.

Donnie loved his family more than anything. Secondly, he loved building, crafting and fabricating hot rods, racecars and anything with wheels. He had a ton of technical knowledge and was always willing to help others and pass that knowledge to them. He loved telling stories about his grandkids and family.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Ginger Gilliam, Eagar; sons, David (Victoria) Gilliam, Springerville; Ray (Cat) Gilliam, Springerville; daughter, Dawni Gilliam, Eagar; sisters, Charlene (Wayne) Potter, Donna Gilliam, Diane Gilliam-Oltesvig, Marlene Kozik, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Daniel Gilliam, brother, Leon Gilliam and grandparents, Lonnie and Geneva Gilliam.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at First Southern Baptist Church, Springerville, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the services at the Nutrioso Cemetery.
