Dionisio "Niche" Roberto Jaramillo Jr., 54, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 in Glendale. He was born June 26, 1963 in Springerville, to Dionisio "Niche" Roberto Jaramillo, Sr. and Gladys Sample Jaramillo.
“Niche” grew up in St. Johns. He was the oldest child of six. He moved to Globe where he worked for 15 years in the mines for Asarco as a supervisor then moved back to St. Johns to manage El Sonador Ranch in New Mexico until 2014. “Niche” enjoyed working on cars, welding, ranching, hunting and fishing and he loved his scratch tickets, his Mexican music and dancing. His eyes would light up when he was spending time with his children and grandchildren; he was a very proud Papa.
“Niche” is survived by his daughter, Samantha Jo Jaramillo (Alyxx), son, Samuel John Jaramillo (Jennifer), grandchildren, Delicia, Rhys, Camila, Natalii, Aryana and Jett, mother, Gladys Sample Jaramillo, brother, Jerry (Lori) Jaramillo, sisters, Carmen (Robert) Tanner, Amanda "Mandi" Jaramillo, Victoria "Vickie" (Robert) Jackson, 16 nieces and nephews and 5 Godchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dionisio Roberto Jaramillo, Sr., sister, Janet Marie Jaramillo and grandparents, Demetrio and Nellie Sample and Erasmo and Avaloy Jaramillo.
A Rosary will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. Johns, with a viewing one hour prior. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. also at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will follow the funeral mass at the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery.
