Daniel H Vallejos, Sr.

Daniel H Vallejos, Sr., 83, passed away, Tuesday, March 25, 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born June 19, 1941 in Quemado, New Mexico, the son of Isabel H. Vallejos and Emamlia Herrera.

Daniel was a Deputy Sheriff for Apache County Sheriff’s Office for many years. He enjoyed his service for Apache County along with fishing, hunting, playing cards with family and friends and BINGO.

Daniel is survived by his sons, Daniel Vallejos, Jr., Apache Junction; Orlando Vallejos, Snowflake, Darryl Vallejos, St. Johns; Glenn Vallejos, Phoenix; Edward Vallejos, Prescott; daughter, Yolanda Meeker, Chino Valley; brothers, Pula Vallejos, Pat Vallejos, sister, Priscilla Johnson, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Herman Vallejos, Carlos Vallejos, Aurello Vallejos, sons, Michael Vallejos, Galen Vallejos, sisters, Antonia Vallejos, Mary Ann Griego and Mary Garcia.

A viewing will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. Johns, followed by Rosary at 9:00 a.m. and a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the funeral services at the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery.
