Clyde Wayne Taylor, 71, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Phoenix. He was born May 16, 1946 in Gallina, New Mexico, the son of Clyde Taylor and Melvida Mattie Moody Taylor.
Wayne made a living as a truck driver; he loved to drive and was a hard-working man. He loved his family; especially his grandkids and he loved the Gospel and serving others in his many church callings. He cherished his beautiful, red-headed, spit-fire wife, Ellen.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Ellen Taylor; Springerville; sons, Randy Taylor, Eagar; Edward Taylor, San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Sandy Taylor Soresi, Peoria; Connie Taylor Larios, Eagar; sisters, May Waldo, Crossville, Tennessee; Syble Hartley, Springerville; Susie Finch, Eagar; 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Michelle Taylor, brothers, Bobby Taylor and Roger Taylor and sister, Charlotte Cook.
A Viewing will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary, Eagar. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eagar Stake Center, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Eagar Cemetery.
