Charles David Chapman, 55, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 in Chandler. He was born July 27, 1963 in Ft. Worth, Texas, the son of Charles Edward Chapman and Peggy Ruth Chapman.
David was a devout Christian. He went to Cartwright Elementary School, Frank Borman Jr. High and Maryvale High School all in Phoenix. After high school David served his country in the United States Air Force from 1981-1985. He was stationed in Altus, Oklahoma and Istanbul, Turkey. David attended Phoenix College to become an EMT. Later he worked for Arizona Medical Transport and then attended classes to become to become a Respiratory Therapist. He worked at Community Hospital in Phoenix and later at White Mountain Regional Medical Center in Springerville. He also worked at the Bagel Gourmet as a barista/cook and manager, as a construction foreman for Norjan and Discount Cab, all in Phoenix. He also worked in Greer at Greer Cabin Keepers as a maintenance technician. David last worked as a plant service technician at Springerville Generating Station for S.E.S. He will be greatly missed and is loved by family members and friends. We will see you in Heaven soon, David. We love you!

David is survived by his wife, Gayleen Marie Chapman, Eagar; daughter, Sarai Peggy-Ruth Chapman, Eagar; brothers, Randall Chapman, Eagar; Buddy Chapman, Texas; Sammy Chapman, Texas; Stanley Chapman, Texas; Kenneth Chapman, Texas; sisters, Pamela Dieckman-Swingle, Florida; Sue Zemka, Colorado and Edwina Corley, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Troy Chapman.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Desert Christian Fellowship in Phoenix. Memorial Services will also be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Momentum Life Church, Springerville.
