Catherine Louisa Moore Crane

Catherine Louisa Moore Crane, 93, died Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Lakeside. She was born January 12, 1928 in Attleboro, Massachusetts, the daughter of Herbert A. Moore and Bertha Calista Cargill.

Catherine was an avid reader, loved plants and flowers, loved to sing in the choir and loved animals. She had an interest in archeology and even participated in an Indian ruin archeological dig south of Quemado on Hwy 32.

Catherine is survived by her son, Robert H. (Judy) Crane, Pinetop; daughter, Patricia (Dennis) Swapp, Luna, New Mexico; brothers, Arthur Moore, Massachusetts; Kenneth Moore, Massachusetts; sister, Emmaline Brown, Pinedale; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Franklin Crane.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Church of Reserve, Reserve New Mexico, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Reserve Cemetery.
