Brian Wayne Merriweather, 78, of Eagar, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, November 21, 2021 in Eagar. He was born December 3, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Wayne Howard Merriweather and Juanita Lucille Harshbarger.
Brian was a 1960 graduate of Russell High School in Russell, Kansas. He served his country in the United States Army Armored Division in Germany from 1960-1963. He worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Co. and as a private telephone contractor and was a member of the Jesus First Community Church in Eagar.
Brian is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joy Merriweather, Eagar; children, Nina Merriweather, Eagar; Brian (Elle) Merriweather, Hamburg, Arkansas; Christine (Brian) Harper, Springerville; grandchildren, Evan, Kevin, Leah, Jimmy, Lacy, Matthew (Maile), Brian Jr., Sonora, Elijah and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He loved his family and will be missed dearly.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Jesus First Community Church in Eagar.
