Arthur Cisco

Arthur Cisco, 57, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 in Show Low. He was born July 19, 1964 in Ft. Defiance, the son of Danny Cisco and Sarah Billy John.

Arthur lived his younger years on the Navajo reservation. He later came to Eagar and worked for Stone Container, Reidhead Brothers Lumber Mill and at present, Nutrioso Custom Homes and Masonry.

Arthur had many friends wherever he was. He loved to tease and his humorous personality was contagious. He loved a good joke or prank.

On June 20, 2010, Arthur was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Arthur and Vanessa along with their children were sealed for time and all eternity on June 15, 2012. Arthur loved the gospel and serving others.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Vanessa Cisco, Eagar; sons, Andrew Cisco, Mesa; Jadon Cisco, Eagar; Kason Cisco, Eagar; daughter, Madi Cisco, Eagar; brothers, Nelson Cisco, James Cisco, Sr., Leroy Cisco, William Cisco, sisters, Betty Gonnie, Betty V. Askie, Barbara Begay, and Matilda Cisco.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Samuel Cisco.

A funeral service will be held Monday, August 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eagar Stake Center, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Eagar Cemetery.
