Arlene Louise Lindskog, 78, passed away, Thursday, March 20, 2025 in Alpine, Arizona. She was born November 8, 1946 in Spokane, Washington, the daughter of Fred Fischer and Kathlyn Mitchamore.
Arlene loved the great outdoors and the back country mountains where she spent most of her free time riding and camping with horses and friends. She was a registered nurse at Western State Hospital before retiring in 2015.
A tribute from Dyan. “Mom was one tough cowgirl. She was so dynamic and always up for an adventure. Her medical skills were invaluable in the remote back country and she taught me everything about horses and triage in the field. One day she’d be riding in the rain forest and the next she was off to Montana or Idaho to ride there. She loved all of nature and animals. Everything she loved, she shared with me and her friends. Our family has been blessed to have her share her love and she is dearly missed.”
She is survived by her daughter, Dyan (Joseph) Lowey, Alpine and grandchildren, Tanner Paquette and Kase Paquette.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
