Ann Eagar

February 28, 1947 — September 25, 2019

On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, our beloved wife, mother and grandma, Carrol Ann Cleveland Eagar returned home to our Heavenly Father at the age of 72. Ann was born February 28, 1947 in Bartow, Florida to Arthur Lloyd Cleveland, II and Ina Marie Reed.

Ann was very passionate about the love she had for all of her family, children and grandchildren. Her favorite moments were spent with her family. She enjoyed reading books, crocheting, traveling, playing games and good desserts. She spent countless hours crocheting baby blankets for all of her grandchildren and even made blankets for her future great grandchildren so they would have something made with love from their grandma.

Ann was married to Peter Mickelson and they had five children. They later divorced. Ann spent her career caring for others as a dedicated nurse. She worked in the ER, life flight and ICU caring for her patients, all while being a loving and devoted mother. She also served in the Utah National Guard as a Major. She later married Richard Eagar in February of 1999 and they were sealed in the St. George, Utah Temple.

Ann was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved our Savior and reading the scriptures and the spiritual power she received through prayer and study. Ann held many positions in the church and loved to serve.

Ann had a fighting spirit and tarried with us many years while battling and living with cancer. She endured surgeries, hospital stays and slow recoveries. She was the recipient of many answered prayers and miracles. She had a great attitude about her life and wouldn’t let her health get in the way of her plans. She and Richard traveled throughout the United States visiting family and friends.

Ann is survived by her husband, Richard Eagar, 5 children, David (Karen) Mickelson, Kristi Mickelson, Jill (Nathan) Henry, Sara (Chris) Baird, Angela (Kyle) Fletcher and 3 step-children, Rachel (Paul) Mensching, Eric (Katie) Eagar, Luke (April) Eagar, 23 of her beloved grandchildren, Nila, Leah, Gwen, Brealle (Wyatt) Frasier, Jacob, Daesha, Clarris, Joseph, Braedan, Lillian, Adeline, Jonah, Abby, Bryce, Kyle, Jaxon, Braydon, Norma, Eli, Beau, Kody and Kace, step-father, Delmus Thompson, sister, Betty (Don) Laughlin, brother, Arthur (Kris) Lloyd Cleveland, III, step-brother, Byron (Shauna) Thompson, 3 nieces and 3 nephews, Don Jr., Kathy, David, Tristin, Travis and Tarin.

She was preceded in death by her daddy, Arthur Lloyd Cleveland, II and her momma, Ina Marie Reed.
