Alice Jean Wilcox, 83, passed away, Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in Alpine, Arizona. She was born August 9, 1941 in San Diego, California, the daughter of Harvey Hodapp and Olive Vessey Adams.

Alice belonged to the Alpine Craft Club and Sit n’ Sew. She enjoyed birding, San Pedro River Maps Banding Project and was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed doll making, quilting, embroidery and crocheting, along with photography, astronomy, puzzle making and reading. She was an avid and loyal New York Yankees fan and loved adventure.

Alice is survived by her husband, Theodore Wilcox, Alpine; son, Dusty (Elena) Wilcox, Florence; daughters, Stormy (Jason) Miller, Tucson; Windy (James) Plamondon, Tucson; sister, Nancy Coil, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Oliver Hodapp.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Cortez Cemetery, Cortez, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alpine Fire District 42688 US Highway 180 Alpine, Arizona 85920
