Adeline Peña Barreras

Adeline Peña Barreras went home to be with the Lord, Friday, April 26, 2019 with her family at her side. Adeline was born May 25, 1941 to Florian Peña and Tomasita Jaramillo Peña.

Adeline‘s greatest joy in life was her husband, Wilfred Barreras whom she was married to for 60 years, as well as her children and grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and was often told she had the most beautiful flowers in town. Adeline dedicated 21 years to children, caring for them as a daycare provider in her home. She had a deep love for all children. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Adeline is survived by her husband, Wilfred Barreras sons, Felix (Vera) Barreras, Gregg Barreras, daughters, Rebecca (John) Flanagan, Christine Long, brothers, Cesario Peña, Tommy Peña, sisters, Syria (Grover) Milligan, Marion Barreras and Elizabeth, as well as 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lorraine Barreras, granddaughter, Jennifer Barreras and brother, Cardenio Peña.
