Gary Bruce Wiltbank, 69, a resident of Eagar, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Springerville. He was born June 24, 1947 in Springerville, the son of Lester Lorenzo Wiltbank and Laverne LeSueur Wiltbank.
Gary was the owner of Wally’s Quick Carpet, a successful carpeting business for 30 years before he retired in 2011. He also worked as a diesel mechanic for Cummins. Gary loved to hunt, fish and attend auto shows. Gary became an avid puzzler in his later years and was always a favorite with the dogs and kids. He had a contagious laugh and never knew a stranger. Gary is going to be sorely missed.
Gary is survived by his wife, Enid Jepson Wiltbank; sons, Cory Scott Wiltbank, Apache Junction; daughters, Denise Louise (Dominic) Zinno, Flagstaff; Robin Marie (Ralph) Rogers, Platte City, Missouri; Carey Laverne Keen, Mesa; Gretchen Ann Phillips, Chandler; Donella Sadie Ahring, Springerville; Erika Lynn Ladewig, Gilbert; sister, Judy Wiltbank, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Carla Nelson, Myrna Sherwood, Jeanie Keno and brother, Dwain Wiltbank.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary, Eagar. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springerville, with vistiation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Eagar Cemetery.
