Bridget Susan Day Rushing

Bridget S. Rushing, 53, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 in Springerville. She was born February 7, 1963 in Springerville, the daughter of Francis Willard Day, Sr. and Gloria Yvonne Anderson Day. Bridget was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to sew, paint and do crafts. She loved to bake and loved spending time with her family. Bridget is survived by her husband, Carl (Sonny) A. Rushing, St. Johns; daughters, Brittney Y. Rushing, St. Johns; Christy A. Rushing, St. Johns; brother, Brett Day; sisters, Roxanne Wilhelm, Tamera Gardner, Renee Rowley, Rechelle Price, Jennifer Brooks and 3 grandchildren, Justin Norton, Sienna Chavez-Rushing and Dannica Norton. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Debra Day and brother, Francis Day, Jr. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, St. Johns Downtown Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery.
