Frank Martin Imboden, 87, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Nutrioso. He was born January 22, 1929 in Granite Oklahoma, the son of Thomas Wilbert and Lydia Laura Huglin Imboden. Martin was a producer for Rose Valley Produce, retiring in 1991. He graduated from Mesa Union High School in 1946. He enlisted in the United States Army on June 5, 1946 and served for three years in Italy. He achieved the rank of Sergeant Grade III. His decorations included World War II Victory Medal, and the Occupation Medal (Europe). He was the seventh son and youngest of the Imboden family to serve in WWII and by the grace of God they all returned home safely. He enjoyed classical music, working crossword puzzles and weekend camping with his family. Heartfelt gratitude goes out to the family and friends that helped out over the years, the Hospice Compassus team for their kindness, loving care and much needed assistance and Burnham Mortuary for their service on his behalf. God bless you each and every one. Martin is survived by his stepchildren, Cynthia G. Barta, Linda R. Anderson, Ronnie L. Henson, Gregory W. Henson, brother, Glen Everett Imboden, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Emma L. Imboden and brothers, Thomas W. Jr., Malcolm V., Carl A., Truman R. and Donald C. Imboden. Private Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Mesa Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his wife.
