Lynda Jane McLaws, 62, of Concho, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 30, 2016. She was surrounded by her loving family. Lynda was born December 11, 1953 in Clydebank, Scotland, the daughter of James Creany and Isabella Bridges Dalziel.
Lynda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Melvin McLaws, children, Gary McLaws and Michelle McLaws, grandchildren that she loved very much; Elizabeth Holbrook, Jessica Isles, Sierra McLaws, Robin McLaws, Nicholas McLaws and Tyler McLaws, sisters that she loved deeply, Wendy Dalziel, and Margrett Kenneth and many friends.
Lynda moved from Scotland in 1978 to California where she was a teacher for troubled kids. She then became a probation officer and later retired. She moved to Arizona in April of 2014 to enjoy being retired. She loved going to church and planting flowers in her flower garden. She really enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Lynda will be truly missed, but forever in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Concho Valley Community Church. All family and friends are welcome.
